Your people are navigating something organisations weren't built for.

One in four pregnancies ends in loss. Most of those people return to work within days. Most managers have no idea what to say, what they're legally required to do, or how to carry that conversation without it costing something, for them and for the person in front of them.

The Employment Rights Act 2025 introduces new provisions on pregnancy loss bereavement leave. The consultation has closed. The clock is moving. Organisations that wait for commencement are already behind.

The gap between having a policy and having an organisation that can actually use it, that is where I work.

And alongside that: your managers are holding more than pregnancy loss. Bereavement. Serious illness. Hidden fertility treatment. Family crisis. They are absorbing it, carrying it, and getting very little back. That is a capability gap and a wellbeing risk. It is also solvable.

The Pregnancy Loss Workplace Implementation Programme

Not a policy template. Not a training day. A structured, end-to-end implementation of genuine organisational capability, built around your people, your culture, and your legal obligations.

Five stages. Delivered over an agreed timeframe. Led by me.

  • Policy & language - legally sound, humane, and actually usable

  • Manager capability - not just awareness, but the skills and frameworks to respond well

  • Communication & culture - so people know what exists before they need it

  • Return-to-work design - structured, sensitive, and person-led

  • Ongoing learning - embedding this as practice, not a one-off project

The framework is mine. The application is specific to your organisation.

Holding the Holders

Your managers are being asked to hold things they were never trained for. Grief. Loss. Distress. Conversations with no script and no easy ending.

Holding the Holders is manager training for the moments that matter most — the ones nobody prepared them for. Developed from 20 years of organisational practice, a somatic evidence base, and the lived reality of what managers actually face.

Available as a standalone workshop, a full programme, or embedded within the Implementation Programme.
